Post blood donation walk:
I'm so long overdue for a workout. It's been over a week *slaps self on wrist* since I worked up a good sweat. Grrr >:o[
On a lighter note, this past Monday (2 days ago) I donated a pint of blood for the very first time! Yipee! In the past few years, I've been turned down a few times when I tried to donate blood because my iron level was too low. Now, thanks to green leafy veggies and iron pills, my iron level was good to go and I was allowed to donate!!
Anyway, I was told not to workout for at least 24 hours after donating. I ended up skipping yesterday's workout and went for a run this afternoon. I ran for a few minutes, got a little lightheaded, and decided to walk instead of run :o/ Better safe than laying on the side of the road.
