Why are you eating in the day? When do you sleep? Isit possible to curtail the eating to 1 meal and 1 snack?

When I worked graveyard for a couple years, I would usually sleep from 8am-1pm. When I woke up, I would have some breakfast (cereal usually, or yogurt and granola) soon after I got up. I would end up hungry again usually around dinner time (5-6pm) and I would end up eating whatever the family was having for dinner. I would then pack some snacks and a light "night dinner" for work, and I would eat the snacks until my lunch break, and then eat the meal I packed. I would have another light snack for after.

If you want to eat frequently, I don't see why not, just pack light snacks to have all the time!

I totally feel you. I work from 7p to 7a and finding the right time to eat is hard. I kind of try and stay on a somewhat normal schedule though. I eat lunch when I wake up, snack sometime before work, dinner during my lunch break, a snack sometime before I get off, and breakfast when I get off

It's nice to see you running again. Arriving at the start line injury-free is a a step towards finishing on two feet.

Do any of you use any of these apps for your runs? Well, of course I have Electric Miles. Looking for a good "keep track of my runs" app.

    • Karen K.

I use Nike+ App on iPhone. It works pretty well! for GPS tracking using the iPhone GPS (no pod needed or anything). I also have the GarminFit App... But I've never actually used it to track my runs. :)
