The Achilles problem remains although quite tolerable today. I felt so great today though I couldn't quit going. I stayed at a good friends house last night in Sheboygan and ran from there through evergreen, maywood, jc quarry trails and through my old childhood neighborhood. I definitely felt less discomfort when running on the dirt trails. I think I'll be seeking out more of them this summer!

Nice to see your pain is going away. I agree on the dirt trails... much less beating on your body. I feel I bounce back / recover much quicker by doing about 1/3 or more of my running on trails.

Wow, you don't run like a guy with an injury. Hope the pain stays away.

Well done, man. Impressive, given the achilles problem. Next time you're in Sheboygan, maybe we could share a few miles - I promise not to slow you down too much!

Tail running is supposed to be easier on the body.

I'm thinking things are getting better. I'm taking NSAIDs thought so it may be masking some of the pain but it is necessary to help the underlying condition. Speed, up to marathon pace, does not seem to affect the level of discomfort which is good.

Lucas I'll run as long as you want :) any pace is fine.
