I had a great tempo run today. I did a 10 mile out and back on lake drive and through klode park. 3 miles, rather quick, warm-up. 4 miles @ 6:35 target, 3 miles cool down.
Splits: 7:25, 7:08, 7:08, 6:32, 6:28, 6:31, 6:38, 7:40, 7:38, 7:50.
It was a tough run but I should recover from it by Saturday

Great run Cory! When I see times like that, I know I have quite a ways to go :)

You really have come a long way, Cory, from your early DM days when a 7 m/m was a good day. Keep it up. Makes me wonder what you're capable of.

I started "training" about 10 months before joining daily mile. My first training run was 5.2 miles in 50 minutes. I was exhausted haha. After 3 years of hard work I reached a 2:58:10 marathon which I still don't know how I did. I'll try to pr again in Boston, but right now I more want to see how far I can go. 50 miles, 100k, maybe more? I don't think I can train any harder than I have the last 12 months but we'll see.
