Was a hard switch from upper 60 degrees to 30 degree run in one day, but I dressed right and started running. It was tough at first, but I started to get into the groove and started feeling better. I didn't plan on going that far, but just felt like running. Was a nice was to shake off the week and try and relax and prepare for the weekend.


good job Chip. I finally got over my weather issue and had to suck it up for the chilly weather too. good job and great mileage!

Nice run, Chip. I'm planning 11 miles Sunday but there is supposed to be 2-4 inches of fresh snow. My plan is to just ignore the snow and just go. We'll see how things work out... Great job!! : )

They are talking snow here either Sunday or Monday. I thought Spring was coming. Hard after running in CA for a week. Now its either bundle up or hit the treadmill.

I hear you! We're obviously not as far North as you are, but this close to MLB opening day, we don't expect to see a major snow storm! I'll be glad to see Mother Nature get this last spring storm out of her system and let us get to some serious outdoor running!! I've broken out my winter gear again and I'm determined to get my 11 miler in tomorrow -- outside!!
