      Thanks! I'm so out of shape that we had to stop so I wouldn't throw up on the assisted pull up machine. But...even though I feel like I cheated on my trainer, I have to say this new guy was very good. Very similar in mentality & practice as my regular gal who got me this far. Is it weird to feel like I cheated on her, even though I'm not a client anymore?

      I'm figuring them out. My stride is a bit different than in the Newtons...but so far, I'm running better than I did in the 2013 Newtons. No feeling like every joint in my legs are rubbing together incorrectly, so that's a BIG help. Now I think I can focus on getting my lungs back because my legs/feet feel like they're working again. :)

      Jax, that's a relief to me! When I called, they're suspicious that it's the newer narrower cut to the shoe that's messing with me. The Altras were okay...I think they'll do until I solve this problem.

      Sorry to hear that, Bonnie. Maybe they made a small change since your old pair? I know that the gel-Kayanos have changed every single year and none feel as good as the 16s (20s should be out this fall). Hope they get you sorted out!

      Newton thinks it's the narrower cut in the 2013 model. They think they still have 2012 in stock, so I might order a few pairs to store.
