Best really long run in a year.

    Oh. My. Goodness.

Springtime in New England is possibly only beaten by fall.

Ended with a complete immersion in the North Atlantic Ocean. It was freaking cold.

First official nice day of spring. What an amazing run.

Laps at the Y. Chatted with one of the women in Missy's triathlon class.

You are rockin' the workouts lately. Awesome job! Me, on the other hand... not so much. Hopefully back on the roads by the time I get back from Atlanta.

Hey man, do you go over to the Mystic, Y? We should get in the pool together at some point. I need form drills: lots and lots of form drills...

I'm spotty on getting to the Y; usually it's evenings, though I'm going to try to do early Friday mornings and still make the van.

Another episode of 24 down. Felt good to spin the legs out after Saturday's run.

  6. blahIt rains, it blows. 12.24 mi / 01:57 09:34 pace

Bleh. Hillier than I thought it would be.

Great job getting out there! Wish I could have enjoyed the crappy weather with you. I took Jack (our dog) for my 1/2 mile warm up as usual and felt the irritation growing. That was my workout, other than stretching and ice, for today.

AWESOME! My feet felt light, and I managed to get in all 3 mid-week runs this week. Skimped about 2 miles of mileage, but I got the runs in.

Congratulations on an excellent week! Great pace too!

  8. greatShort 2 mi / 00:17 08:15 pace

Great run, though cut short by opportunity to talk to a co-worker I've been looking for.

  9. good 3.04 mi / 00:27 08:49 pace

Good pre-work run. Funny how temps feel warm on the way up - 40 degrees and I put on shorts.

I agree, this time of year is the best as far as temps go!

I hear ya. This time of year 45 is shorts-weather, no doubt...come August, 45 degrees would have me pulling out my tights...
