Any recovery run approaching 10k length is pretty darn impressive. I spent my first day off running errands and gobbling a plate lunch I probably didn't need ;)

Lori, I find that eating a burger from Jack in the Box after my long runs helps me recover super well. Maybe I should do some research on that. hahaha. You were a life saver!!!

You killed it despite the slant of the road. Can't believe you put in that extra mileage. Once I went to my parents' house I lay on the floor and couldn't get up for a while due to the road slant and the left knee/side pain. You rock!

Lori, road slant is currently killing me at the moment. I am taking it really easy this week. Road slant plus rock in my shoe messed up my gait so aside from sore left side of body I have sore outside of right foot and arch. Why do we do this again?!!!!! LOL

Yikes! I didn't look at the course map. Thanks for the heads up. Only you would consider a 10 min pace for a 10k "taking it easy."
