Congrats, Rene! I know...the NSM did the same thing to me last year and I'm still a mess from it (but getting better). Way to go on completing the marathon...two minutes ahead of me...haha. I probably was running right around you. You probably passed me going downhill on DH...hehe. At any rate, great job!!!

@James, we were both wearing black bottoms and green tops. We literally ran right next you right at the beginning of the hill. @Lori, I was supposed to walk, not sure what I was thinking. Satomi, my husband pointed you out this morning but you passed by us way too fast. Going to be taking it easy next week with only mile runs or so then hoping to do cross training next week and still easy runs. Doing the Kids 5K and then the Pineapple 10K and Hibiscus Half in May...won't do longer runs.

Hmm...I don't remember much at the beginning of the hill because I was trying to decide if I was going to walk or not...haha. Well, sorry I didn't see you and say "Hi!" I might see you at the Hibiscus Half. Still trying to decide if I want to sign up..hehe.

Feeling much better. Stretching out that whole left leg as best as I can. North Shore is tough, 16 miles running toward Kaena Point on the slanted roads are not the best. Still love that race.

Lori, you have to do it though because it is the antithesis of the Honolulu Marathon. I also have a mad love for the North Shore so as much as I said that that was my last NS Marathon I am sure I will be enticed to do it again. Small race. totally chill, amazing atmosphere, great race people. U need to do it once. <3
