Tackled infamous Sehgahunda today - made the decision to pull out at mile 20 - first 12 miles went great on pace, but stomach issues led to increasing dehydration. Continuing would have been risking heatstroke, so DNF'd... Bummed, but wouldn't change anything about the day - what an awesome event! (And not too bad considering I also did a single speed century ride and 2.5 mile within the same week...) I now have a bone to pick with Sehgahunda - next year you're going down!


That would be "2.5 mile swim"...

Ben, you still did awesome. That course was tough. Next year though, run the legs with us so you know whats coming after mile 20 (its one hell of a 2-3 mile stretch)

Oh, I'll have that course memorized by next year - cranked through those first 12 miles at a 5:30ish finish pace, but apparently my stomach had other plans after that... Already can't wait for next year - gonna focus on Sehgahunda as my early season race and just go crush it!
