      Thinking about doing the Chino Hills 50K next year. What did you think of the trails? Good for a newbie ultra runner?

      Yes, they would be perfect. There aren't any real steep climbs, more just rolling hills and it is not technical. Mostly fire roads and very runable. It is all exposed though, so depending on the time of year it can get pretty toasty.

      Besides the distance, snakes serve enough of a deterrence for me from attempting to run ultras. Tarantulas and scorpions, too? I might try the ice cubes in my bra the next time I go out for a run though. Congrats on such a huge accomplishment and being some kind of badass, Amazing Ashley! :)
