      Hey, I've been flat on my back for the last 36 hours! Just reaching into the dryer to get a pair of socks and my back tightened up big time. Hope we both heal by the day of the Koman run!

    I decided to take it easy today and walk the 3 miles. I got up late and the sun was up and it was already so hot I just did not have it in me to run. It was a good decision!

    My intention was to walk today but really felt the urge to run....so I did! It felt like I was running through a thin veil of mist....yuck! I feel good though! I am tired, it has been a long week! lol

      You go -- you're already ready to break the 35 minute mark in a 5k -- and by late September you're going to be even faster. Keep it up!

      I think for a lot of people, the first 5k goal is 35 minutes -- and if you're getting there in this heat, you'll be surpised how much easier it is when the temps start to drop.
