    Following the training program in that book - Relentless forward progress. Shooting for the 100 mile run on 50 miles/week. There is a 3 week ramp up to the full mileage.

      My friend just recommended that book to me! He has used it for his 100-milers. The Buffalo 100 - is that on Antelope Island the end of March??? I'm considering the 50 for my first. A few friends have done the 100 and gave it good reviews.

      Thanks. I did a 50k there several weeks ago. It was brutal. I wouldn't do it for my first 100, but my friend is set on it. I am also thinking of the Bighorn 100 in June. First things first though.
