Oooh, maybe I'll find a pair of "long and lean" ones in there! Need to go check that puppy out :) These short legs on my 5'8" frame don't do me many favors. Many people are surprised I have a 51 frame - haha. Workin' what I got!

alright MS Ride Day 2 27 mi 02:03 13.2mph pace
Well, today was not as I hoped. I had absolutely nothing in my legs to deal with the wind or work the hills. Hubby had his fun doing the 100 mike route at an awesome pace, so he was being patient a... read more

Nice Job:
A long time ago, a good friend and great biker told me the speed doewn't matter, I need to work on the cadence. Had me started at an average of 70 RPM and over, and gradually increase that average. To this day, that's how I ride :-)

Thank you Helene. He's been trying to work with me on cadence, but it's tough on hills and I had switch my computer to distance at the last rest stop and forgot to switch it back. Hubby is usually getting on me to pick a higher gear because it looks like I'm bouncing or spinning when in reality I'm not, so sometimes I have that going in the back of my head. My head was definitely winning and not in the right way that day :/

That's funny that the instructor would care about that! Haha!!! I always gage everything by fit of clothes, strength of legs and endurance depending on fatigue etc. and speed. Weeeelllll, unless I eat too many Oreos or Doritos, then I might gage a workout by calories!!! Hahahahahaha!!! Another fun weekend ahead of you!!! You are rockin' the pedals!! Woo hoo!
