So glad it went well! Is this the 'muscle max' / 'power pump' class? How often do you teach it?

When will recovery from an ultra ever end? I mean...it's only been a week, but I should be running normal again, right? These 2 miles seemed like 10!

Hi Anna :-) I'm not an expert, as I have only done 3 ultras, but my recovery was very different with all 3. After my first 50k I actually didn't feel too bad, I did some light weights, and a small and slow 2 mile run the next day just to help loosen everything up. I do advise lots of walking :-) To sum it up I's say anywhere from 1-3 weeks to feel 100% again :-) The good news is, the more of them I do, the faster I recover LOL!!!

Thank you! This is my second ultra. I wasn't that sore afterward...just fragile. I weight train also, and I haven't felt any fatigue with that, just running.
