I sucked on a couple of Jolly Ranchers tonight while running hills because I knew dinner was going to be late. It took the edge off my hunger and gave me a nice little sugar boost!

I used to run with dog treats in my pockets, too...but then they'd spend the whole time trying to jump on me and passersby would get worried - "Is that dog attacking you?" So now the dogs have to wait until we get home. :)

Sun and flat route 4 mi 00:38 09:33 pace
Couldn't let this sunny pass without enjoying it. Recovery run on the flattest route I could find. My sore calves thanked me for sparing them from more hills... beautiful day!

Way to get out there. I skipped my Sunday run and as I sat on the couch uncomfortably full from eating Super Bowl food I wished that I would have run.
