good Hinson Lake 24 Hour 75.17 mi 23:45 18:57 pace

Unofficial race results from my Garmin, which includes my trips off course to the bathroom. What an experience! Until my feet became badly blistered, I was feeling pretty decent. The last miles wer... read more

  2. RUN
great WB RF 4 mi 00:37 09:18 pace

Last run before the 24 Hour race at Hinson Lake. Felt good to stretch out the leggies and the pizza and beer post run was delicious!

  3. RUN
    blah MoT 10.01 mi 01:56 11:35 pace

Rough morning run and just wasn't feeling it. Luckily, I had three good friends to distract me from the run.

  4. RUN
    good MoT 6.01 mi 01:06 10:59 pace

Chilly and humid run this morning with some interesting discussion regarding safety and the dangers of running alone.

True: if you run in the woods and there's no-one there to witness it, did you really run?

  5. RUN
good RF WB 5 mi 00:45 09:01 pace

Arrived a few minutes late due to traffic and ran 5 a bit faster than I've been running lately. It felt good to stretch out my legs a bit.

  6. RUN
    alright MoT 6 mi 01:04 10:37 pace

Cooler temps, but still high humidity. Struggled a bit getting the legs going this morning.

  7. RUN
    blah Kensington 20 20 mi 03:54 11:41 pace

Cranky tummy, but happy to have company for this last 20 before Lake Hinson 24.

  8. RUN
    good Hockey Town 5K 3 mi 00:32 10:46 pace

Total fun run and funny the course even came up short. Pretty cool to finish up at center ice though.

  13. RUN
WB Trail LSD 24 mi 04:52 12:08 pace

LSD run on the WB Trail solo while listening to various podcasts. It was nice to see Sandra with ice cold water for me after the first 16. Runners really do make the best friends.

  14. RUN
    Milford Labor Day 30K 20.08 mi 03:23 10:07 pace

30k race plus a little extra to get 20 for the day. 24 miles tomorrow which will hopefully be a little less hilly.

  17. RUN
great Kensington Double Loop 17 mi 02:55 10:16 pace

98% humidity and 78 degrees left me a giant puddle, but amazingly I felt strong and not too sore considering running Crim the day before. Very encouraging heading into Monster Mileage week prior t... read more

  18. RUN
    good Crim 10 Mile 10.1 mi 01:30 08:53 pace

40th Crim and 3 weeks post 50 mile race. I was pretty happy with the result, especially on a super humid day. My legs really weren't ready to hit the hills much harder, but I felt strong.

  19. RUN
    alright MoT 6.1 mi 01:07 11:00 pace

Aside from the humidity, I felt pretty great this morning. Much more awake than the previous two. That being said the day went all downhill from there. Damn construction and accidents.

  20. RUN
tired Kirk Hills 5 mi 00:55 11:04 pace

So hard to roll out of bed instead of rolling over and hitting the snooze button. As usual, I'm glad I did. I figure all this sleep running will be useful in my upcoming 24HR race.
