Hi Angie, what type of Altra's did you get? I just got a pair of Newton Gravitas and they are quite an adjustment from my Kinvaras.

The Altras are providing enough cushion to let me run while giving a lot of feedback so I can learn to run lighter. So far I have been very pleased with the shoe. And they are half the price of the newtons which i

good More zone 2 runs 10.01 mi 01:49 10:54 pace

Same run as yesterday. Body responded better. The HR stayed lower for most of the run. Still a challenge to maintain zone 2 on the hills even with the slowest of paces.
