      Ivy must be one of thoes Ultra Dogs, Bailey a 175lb Newfoundland did the Bruce Trail from Hockly Valley to the end with me. A good running partner. He died in 2010 at 17yrs old!

      @Spence Ivy will be 2 years old on the 20th of December and is about 50 pounds. She's good for the 10-15 mile runs I've been doing this fall. She ran as far as 20 miles a couple of times last winter in the snow. She's turned into a great running dog; everything I had hoped she would be when we got her.

      You never know with dogs, I had a plot hound, suspost to be a runner but after 5k would lie down and refuse to move. Last year I got a Red bone/Lab mix 3yrs old who will run for ever. I did several 50K,s last year and she ran with me step for step!
