great Kicked some Power Yoga ass (albeit a bit broken) 01:00

I cannot remember the last time I felt so great in class. Yes, the UBHA was hurting a little. But, I almost didn't notice it. For some silly reason my legs felt really strong. It's been a very long time since I've been able to do poses without having to worry about a healing stress fracture, foot pain, or just general leg weakness. I have no idea why I had so much energy and felt so strong tonight. But, it was awesome. Must be the stretching I did today.

It was a No Fear class tonight. I went for it all, without trepidation. Something I haven't done in a very long time. I've been very nervous about pushing myself. Tonight I did. We worked with the ball for the first half of class. Tons of core work, which was a killer, but felt great.

Second half was poses. I hadn't rocked these in forever. Felt great to go for it. Fun to jump into poses (literally jump) when I had been cautiously stepping into them for such a long time.

All in all it was a great class. I'm by no means fixed. I'm still very broken. My legs are still weak and wonky. But, for one night I felt like I had legs of steel and felt pretty damn good.

Namaste on that muthafuckers.
