  1. RUN
    great Polecat 6.65 mi 01:21 12:10 pace

Run with Lori, and we managed to beat last week's PR. I think maybe we can get it under 1:15 in the next few months...as long as it isn't muddy, and maybe with fresh legs.

  2. VELO
    alright 2nd choice 18 mi

In the morning's craziness, I forgot my workout bag so no post-work greenbelt run...and the roads in traffic didn't sound good, so cycling it was.

  3. RUN
good Bad shoe run 6.86 mi

Tried these stupid shoes again - 1/2 size larger than my normal running shoes - and while my toes are happy, my heels are so not happy! GETTING RID OF THESE SHOES NOW!!!

You should convince Michelle of this. She keep buying Cascadias and the heel never works for her either.

How sad! It's such an expensive investment. I buy a half size to big but it works for me. Sorry Andrea :(

1/2 size bigger is my norm and works for the heel, but this is a whole size - to make my toes happy - and really, they aren't allowed to be happy. It's just the way it is. And I've since changed to ASRs or whatever they are called.

  5. RUN
    good Wilson Creek 11 mi

I screwed up my Garmin so mileage is a guess - trail is normally about 10.8, but I backtracked in a few spots so I'm rounding it up. Saw the wild horses!

  6. RUN
great Dry Creek 15 mi 04:15 17:00 pace

Fun outing with Lori, Joyce and Francie. Saw 2 nice sized deer and lots of interesting poop. 2,461' Also, the sheep (and dog) were out on our way back down.

I think of you every time I find scat out on the trail now -- and how you educated me about each and every animal who made it and what they ate! :D Dr Poop, we should run together again when my foot heals up!!! Glad you had fun!

Katie, I'm using the 50mile/week plan from Relentless Forward Progress. There is also a 25k, 50k and 50m at the same time. And my husband isn't too fond of these "fabulous" ideas I have :D
