      Good job getting out anyway! The hot runs are the hardest ones for me and the biggest fight is convincing myself to start them!

      Good going, Andrea! My running-in-the-heat mantra tonight was: "Stay strong, drink water." Figures that I'd finally get back into running when the weather turns back to real summer temps and humidity! LOL

    Finishing the miles with Dondi. Remembering to pack sunscreen doesn't actually prevent sunburns. You have to put it on. 2 more snakes and 2 great blue herons.

    Had to run solo today so for safety's sake, hit the track...around and around. The pace isn't where it needs to be. 90 oz of water (ran out) and 700 calories of Tailwind.

    Hot but good run with Lori. Used the new access point, but made a wrong turn so ended up short on miles. Oh well, we weren't going back out :)

    Nice outing with Dondi, Joyce and Lori. Perhaps a bit faster than necessary towards the end, especially with the heat, but we didn't die so it's all good.

    This run was for my Dad and his pup. Blondie, a.k.a. my little sister, was a faithful friend to him for 12 years, and crossed the rainbow bridge yesterday. Poor Dad :'-(

    Reading session on the bike. Pouring sweat so hopefully this equates to 5-6 miles of road running. Good book so far.

    Foot wasn't that bad - maybe because I've scheduled a PT appt for Wednesday? We walked the whole up, then ran easy the whole down (Lori is tapering for a race this weekend).

    Headed out in perfect temp for a nice 10 or so miler, but the foot said no. ^%$&# Hobbled home and rode the stationary bike.
