Take rest for a week. If the pain is very sharp see a physio therapist , ice it take voveron 50 mg and do leg strengthening exercises. if this is muscle pain it will go in a week. If your shoes are worn out change them. That's what I did when I got injured. I follow your posts you cycle a lot I thing this injury is due to cycling, never heard running injury like this, just a estimate though... Get well soon

Try running a bit more flat footed and try not to 'toe off' just land, leaver, lift.

Muscle expecting the rest. Need to control ur workouts. Give regular icing for about 15min, 4-5 times a day. Contact Dr.Kannan Pugazhendi - Sparrc Institute - Physico cum sports doctor if required. Take care.

I agree with Kevan. That's exactly what I would do. Maybe also add 10 minutes of walking before every run to warm it up well before you start.

Be sure to stretch and warm up before adding intensity to your run. Be sure to stretch afterwards too!! Could it be your shoes? Try running in a different pair for awhile to see if there is any improvement.
