I almost bagged this run. I left early to go hiking all day. I figured I wouldn't do my run because it was short, I'm tapering and hiking. I didn't think it would make a difference in the long run. However, I got home I thought, it's just 4 and I want to go to the starting line knowing I followed my plan and to trust the training. Even if this 4 doesn't make much of a difference. One bad move was the WaWa up in the Poconos we stopped at had my fav mint chip shakes. So I got one not knowing I was going to go run in 60 mins. At mile 2 I was certain I just participated in a pancake eating contest. Plus it was swampy air like Florida. So I started moving really slow. I almost headed home at mile 3 but couldn't give up. As soon as I stopped I felt better. However no more evil milkshakes for me.
