  1. RUN
    good 3.3 mi 00:26 07:57 pace

3 miles @ half marathon pace, and short cool down.

Dreaming of a half marathon at that pace - nice work on the miles.

      Nice Job:

I always feel like I need to go farther when training schedules call for 3 miles...nice pace!

  2. RUN
    blah 4.5 mi 00:41 09:07 pace

Miserable hill repeats. Mentally, I wasn't prepared to push, so the speed kept creeping slower and slower. But I guess we can only go up from here!

    • Caron

      great job pushing thru!!

I think that is a great pace for hill repeats. Stick at it - looking good to me.

Agree with Rosalinda -- 9:07 is a great pace for hills. Plus, you'll see a lot of improvement if you keep at it.

Thanks, ladies! I think I was just frustrated that I wasn't hitting paces that I used to be able to hit.

  3. RUN
    3 mi 00:28 09:21 pace

    3 mile recovery run

  4. RUN
    good 14.55 mi 02:17 09:23 pace

    Longest run since October.

  5. RUN
    good 7 mi 00:58 08:15 pace

Didn't quite make it to "pace" speed, but that's ok. The body pump/spin/weight circuit from last night probably didn't help.

  6. RUN
    good 4.4 mi 00:35 07:58 pace

    Tempo run

  7. RUN
    alright 3 mi 00:28 09:09 pace

Easy Threesy recovery run. I'm having some ankle discomfort that I don't like.

  8. RUN
    alright 3.7 mi 00:30 08:06 pace

2.5 mile tempo run. 15 days into the new year and I'm already slacking on the daily mile updates.

    • Hyedi

I should start harassing you in the comments on your blog.

"You blogged about running but I didn't see it on Dailymile!"

Just kidding. I would never do that.

That's funny, Hyedi. A - At least you're running and working out. If it's only DM updates that are slacking, that's no biggie.

@Hyedi, I actually had that thought yesterday when the post went up! Someone is going to call me out that I obviously ran and didn't record it! If I don't enter it in right away, I forget!

If only they had a way to sync automatically! I do the same thing...either way, we know you are running, you just don't get the advantage of our motivation.

  9. RUN
    good 12.35 mi 01:49 08:47 pace

Not quite where I want to be pace-wise, but still on track to PR!

  10. RUN
    good 2.24 mi 00:20 08:55 pace

Technically a rest day, but I needed an endorphin boost.

  11. RUN
    alright 1.35 mi 00:10:05 07:28 pace

Hill repeats...looks unimpressive, yet feels completely miserable.

Hill repeats are such good speed workouts! And practical training for most race courses too!

3 miles at almost goal half pace and .1 cool down.

  15. RUN
    good 7.14 mi 01:02 08:40 pace

Half Marathon Training long run #2. Did hill sprints last night, so my legs weren't too into it, but overall felt pretty good. Excited for hash browns!

  16. RUN
    alright 3.16 mi 00:29 09:11 pace

3 weeks later, first post-marathon run! It was slow and my muscles didn't like it very much, but I ran!

  17. RUN
    good 4 mi 00:37 09:15 pace

    Treadmill "taper" run

  18. RUN

    Sprint intervals.

  19. RUN
    good 9.02 mi 01:25 09:24 pace
