Nice to meet you afterward..........I wasn't quite my social party self but then again it was my first marathon. :) Glad the cramps held off and you were able to recover the PP time and get that sub-4. The full blown cramps came my way and boy did it suck. Big congratz to you both........super job!!!!!!!!!

Rich, I was so scared that I was going to get a full cramp.. which is what happened in the run portion of the Outer Banks Triathlon.. and you just can't work when your muscles are locked up tight. I'm sorry you had to deal with that in your marathon. Great job finishing your first full! Congrats to you! :)

It felt cold at first, but about a mile into it felt perfect. Right knee was complaining first mile (the one I banged up in the 20 miler 3 weeks ago). After that felt great.
