  1. RUN
    good 4 mi 00:41 10:21 pace

Good run, just a hint of hip tightness at the end. Now if you'll excuse me, I have 1000 clamshells to do (at least that's what it feels like, lol)

  2. RUN
    great 5.02 mi 00:52 10:22 pace

One PT visit and I'm cured, lol! Best I have felt in 2 weeks. Not even a hint of tightness.

  3. RUN
    alright 6 mi 01:03 10:30 pace

Nice and easy 6 with the Saturday crew. Felt good to stop at 6, lol. Hip behaved until just after mile 4. Glad to start PT soon and get this done.

  4. RUN

  5. RUN
    good 4.25 mi 00:44 10:25 pace

Saw Dr. Bright today and he thinks the hip thing is piriformis. So PT starts Monday. He also suggested that my shoes looked worn, so I broke out a new pair tonight. Way less tightness...wonder if... read more

Glad you went to see Dr. B. I have been having hip/piriformis/SI joint issues as well...chiro has been doing ART and PT and it's improving slowly. I do the same thing with shoes...I am on top of it, then suddenly I'm not and I start getting the twinges and such.

Was able to join Meghan P. for her 5K workout and did some extra before and after. hip definitely isn't 100% but wasn't nearly as bad as Saturday. Kept it easy paced in the sauna.

    alright recovery 5k 3.1 mi

Hip started out very grumpy and tight, but after a mile I stopped and massaged it and was able to finish without much pain at all. Might be time to treat myself to a sports massage!

The important thing is the hip resolves itself. Eating and hydration are easy. Drink more. Eat when you're hungry. Great job on your distance PR today!
