  1. RUN
    blah 3.1 mi 00:33 10:41 pace

Glad they all don't feel like this one. The first mile was brutally hard, and I struggled to stay at 11 minute miles. Second half went slightly better but I'm glad to be done.

  2. RUN
    alright 4 mi 00:43 10:45 pace

Trying to figure out what to work on in this off season before I start training to hopefully PR a February half. Started with trying to improve my cadence, which if I don't think about it, is... read more

  5. RUN
    good 4.03 mi

Little bit bummed about missing the half marathon and seeing all my friends run to great finishes, so I consoled myself with a run around Centennial Olympic Park here in Atlanta.

  6. RUN
    alright 4 mi 00:42 10:31 pace

That was one wet and dark run! This definitively proves how much I hate the dreadmill.

  7. RUN
    good 3.03 mi 00:34 11:13 pace

Easy 3 with the lovely Beth S.

  8. RUN
    good 3.1 mi

After a day of a lot of sitting and working on a presentation, I needed to get out and stretch the legs. Little niggle in my left knee, but couldn't pass up the fall weather and fresh air.

  9. RUN
    great Easy 5k 3.1 mi

Feeling surprisingly good and was so glad to be running again. It brings my smile back.

  10. walk
    good Lunch walk 1 mi

Easing back into it. Being a good girl. Doesn't mean I'm not itching to run again, but my quads would disagree with me right now.

I know it's hard after a marathon to take a break, but your body will thank you if you give it even one more day than you want to.

Walking is the best thing to do after a marathon...keeps the blood flowing!

My first marathon is in the books! Learned a lot about how to do this better next time (and there will be a next time, I suspect). I way underfueled. I realized when I got back I hadn't tou... read more
