    Well it took me over an hour. I walked a quater mile than I would rest. The doctor said take it easy so that is what I did. Instead of going my pace, I went at the paace of my two year old.

  2. I once again may not be on much. I hurt myself walking today. the doctor said I was doing to much. Sorry yall. I swear I will get this down. I just have to heal first.

      Try some stretching and massage to reduce the soreness. Oh, and continue the walking... that helps as well.

      I sware by calcium at bedtime it is a natural anti inflamatory and helps w soreness. Good job at least your still moving and getting in distance.

    I did about 10 pushup and 10 situps. I started a program that starts me out small and I can work my way up as I work On my running.

      That is a great time! It does get better. If you keep at it, and are persistent it will get better. I promise. We took a nap earlier, Serenity and I. SO nice.
      I'll have a Garmin by the St Pat's day run so I can pace us. can you keep up?

      You are still faster. I thought once I hit the 2.5 marker I was going to die. I didn't think I was going to make it but I kept on pushing myself and I finished it. So now I'm ready to go to the St. Patrick's Day run.

      Finishing it is all that matters. Once you have a time to beat, that gives you something to work on. You have a time to beat now; even if you cut 1 minute a week off of it, you're doing great.

      Don't forget strength training. It really keeps you from getting injured. Core is uber-important.

    Well I ran a mile but had to stop and walk a few times. My first time out running in a few years and I chose to do it in the snow. It sure wore me out but at least I got a start.
