      That stinks! Can shin splints be contagious? Since we talked the other day, I've developed one. Thanks, tons, chick!

      Seriously, rest it up. Ice helps some, rest is the key. Sucks, I know. I'm icing mine while I type this.

    That was awesome and totally hard at the same time. First mile my legs were stiff, last mile they were rockin' it. The intervals in the middle were complete torture!!!

      It's perfectly OK to walk inbetween running. I don't use an interval method now, but I used to. The most I walk during a single run is maybe 30-seconds and that's it.

    Took it slow again and it felt kinda hard anyway! Ha! But, I stretched really well afterwards, so it's all good. Legs feel good, but still some shin pain. hmmm.
