I'd like to get to the point where I can run about 45 minutes per day, or 4 to 5 miles. No big race aspirations. Maybe just a 5k or, at most, a 10k some day.

      I've started running with my dog too. You'd think they'd be able to handle the slower miles. But no... mine usually starts looking to quit at 1.5 and by 2.5 is walking behind me. lol!

    Now I know why I never repeated my criss-cross run up to Tourtellotte. Aside from the last 3/4 mile, it's pretty much all uphill. Ugh.

    Well, it's settled. I've got to learn to run earlier in the morning or at sunset. Cannot take these direct rays. They're killin' me.

    Pretty good! I had to walk a couple of times. I get hot in direct sunlight. My sister and I have never been good with even mild heat. We're fragile.
