blah Morning forefoot run 2.34 mi 00:29 12:23 pace

Didn't get to run as early as I wanted, but figured this is a good start. Had coffee and then went. Empty stomach made the run harder, anemia is usually worse in the morn for me, AND I tried forefoot running for the first time today. OW! The calves never worked this hard. I read online that your first few times forefoot running is going to be slow and accompanied with some calf pain, so at least I know I'm not crazy. I need to strengthen m calves more though. All these factors together made for one very slow and difficult run. But, still, worth a try. I won't give up.

Here's a good read---> http://www.kinetic-revolution.com/forefoot-running-and-calf-pain/
