That sounds like a major injury. I didn't realize Zumba could be so dangerous. I was invited to attend a class recently but haven't ever tried it. I hope you recover quickly.

No miles for a while. Injured my knee in zumba on Thursday. Now on crutches and full leg brace. Will consult with orthopedic doc regarding MRI and treatment on Monday.

Sorry to hear you are not feeling well. Definitely get better soon! Be as aggressive as you can be with Physical Therapy as soon as your doctor gives you the go ahead. *e-hugs*

Leatrice - don't I know it now. 2nd zumba injury on under a year (busted achilles in my calf back in March). Vowing to only do aqua zumba from here on out when I get better.

Strength/circuit training with trainer for 1 hr. Included 1.25 miles running intervals on treadmill - didn't have Garmin on. Up to 6 on treadmill - fastest I've gone on treadmill yet.

Thanks, Paula. She's really helping me strengthen my leg. We did some moves from PT, but then some more difficult weight training and core.
