  1. RUN
    alright 3.04 mi 00:29 09:24 pace

Tried to buddy tape toes - didn't help. I think the toe nail needs to fall off before it will feel better. Feeling out of shape cardio wise, but this went better than the run last week, I think!

  2. RUN
    tired 2.51 mi 00:23 09:21 pace

First run of "spring"! Toes hurt. Tried again in the Hokas. Not a great run by any means, but glad I got out there and did something.

  3. RUN
good Disney Princess Half Marathon 13.26 mi 02:12 09:56 pace

Wore the Hokas - a risky choice, but I think it paid off. Will likely lose two toe nails, but otherwise foot pain felt minimized which is awesome. Ran the entire first 10 miles, and then took three... read more

    alright 8.39 mi 01:23 09:53 pace

Last long run before Glass Slipper Weekend. Not terrible. Finally got metatarsal pad placed where I think it helped A LOT, which is a relief! Felt crazy cold - muscles froze up, fingers burning num... read more

  7. RUN
    injured Treadmill 1.4 mi 00:16 11:25 pace

Felt sick from chili cook off. Adjusted metatarsal pads and it made my foot hurt worse, so gave the running a break.

  8. RUN
alright Bar Louie to Starbucks - the ... 6 mi 01:00 10:04 pace

You wouldn't know I have two races next weekend by the way I'm training :/ Slow today - first run back in awhile. Used the metatarsal bar - I think it helps with the pain, but caused my f... read more

  9. RUN
    alright Treadmill 4 mi 00:39 09:50 pace

  10. RUN
    injured Treadmill 3.02 mi 00:32 10:29 pace

  11. RUN
    injured 10.11 mi 01:49 10:44 pace

I need to be happy with finishing this run. Road conditions were terrible. Near the end, My legs could barely keep me from falling each time I would slip in the snow/ice/slush. Foot pain and nerve ... read more

  12. RUN
    good 4.16 mi 00:39 09:27 pace

Tried running in Brooks Pure Cadence. Toe didn't hurt as much. Liked how my midsole felt hugged and the shoe directed my landing. Tried to push this pace a little bit, given the awesome weathe... read more

  14. RUN
    tired 5.26 mi 00:54 10:13 pace

This was supposed to be 11 miles. Too much snow - foot and toes hurt. Cut it short.

  15. RUN
    great Treadmill 3 mi 00:28 09:22 pace

Interval workout felt great. Accidentally hit the stop button, otherwise would've gone longer. Half mile warm up. 3 minute intervals: 2 - 3% incline at race pace, then 3 minute speed intervals... read more

  16. RUN
    alright Dreadmill 3.1 mi 00:31 10:02 pace

Did a weird hill/interval workout. 5 Minute warm up at current long run pace. 3 minutes at slow pace, high incline then 3 minutes of 1% incline at fast interval pace. Repeat. Was surprised at how m... read more

  17. RUN
    tired 7.2 mi 01:10 09:43 pace

  18. RUN
    tired 10.04 mi 01:40 10:00 pace

  19. RUN
    tired 3.11 mi 00:29 09:11 pace

This was frustratingly hard. I didn't have any fuel before hand (probably 1st mistake) and I think my training is suffering due to the last two weeks only being long runs and no short or mid d... read more

Why is it I can do a long run that feels relatively okay, and then a 3 mile run feels like hell. Running is so complicated!

  20. RUN
    alright 5.5 mi 00:54 09:46 pace

Could've been worse. Felt fatigued from hard run yesterday, but that will help prepare mind/body for race in February.
