6 & a half weeks since I last ran round the park. Not as much litter as I feared - I think most people went elsewhere for their Bank Holiday picnics. I was hoping to run 6 miles, but I think I am still a bit tired from my walk on Saturday - my back was stiff & my legs leaden. I just hope running now. however slowly, will prepare my body for a longer run later in the week. Today it took 3 miles for it to remember that running really is something we do. The grass was dry, the sun shone, the cooling light wind blew - as so often, I was the only fly in the ointment.
