  1. RUN
    6.2 mi 00:50 08:05 pace

Really fun 10k this morning with the boys. 100 pounds of boys and stroller made for heavy pushing, but I was pleased with the pace given that. Looking forward to racing solo one of these days! Wish... read more

Tempo. 4 miles @ 7:50 was the goal.

4 miles @ 7:35 pace (final mile was after a break at the beach which brought down my over all pace. Don't know that I could run much faster in a 5k)... read more

Busy week so catching up on logging workouts. This was Friday's run. Warm-up, followed by 1600, 1200, 800, and 400. 400 meter walk rest intervals in between. I have a twinge in my hip flexor t... read more

Yesterday's run: lots of people I know were running the Maine Marathon/half so I tried to channel them as I went out. Back to back running days is a challenge for me (and my poor old feet) but... read more

  5. RUN
    alright 5.6 mi 00:49 08:49 pace

I've been feeling a bit poorly this week and with a kid who has both a broken arm and a virus, it's not been a great time to get moving. This morning I headed out for 4 x 1000m. I usually... read more

This was a pretty miserable run. I'm following a schedule from FIRST and I thought this workout was a typo! Warm-up, 2 miles @ short tempo, 1 mile slow, 1 mile @ short tempo, 1 mile slow, 2 mi... read more

If 9 miles constitutes "Run Less," I'd be afraid to know what they think "Run More" means!

I usually don't follow as it said in the book... I preferred to doing a little bit of more long run between because I think it has a lack of resistance... However running plus swimming it like putting turbo in your legs... Also this tempo I don't like to do it, because its make me feel like uncomfortable... I do instead a short tempo run like 4 miles at sub 7:40..

  7. RUN
    Yesterday's run 5.61 mi 00:43 07:38 pace

The overall pace is artificially high as I took a few rest stops between intervals. Each interval was followed by 400 meter jogs and sometimes a complete short rest.
As always, I ran these interval... read more

Wow, nice mileage AND speed! Especially with a stroller! I have run with a friend, pushing her strolling a few times and it certainly isn't easy! We really need to start thinking about meeting up for a run sometime... :) Next week is my taper week (thank goodness!), so low mileage for me. But you'll have to let me know when you're free, even if you get to bring Charlie! :D
