Barefoot, Intervals
6
km
Barefoot, shirtless, and shortless on my treadmill. (It's raining outside, at times heavily.) Aerobic pace, w/ 6 x 100m intervals. Fresh legs and a clear mind after two days of not running.

glad the 2 days cleared things up!

Great job Alan. Glad the break yielded a benefit :)

You should write a book: "Barefoot, Bareass Running". Minimalist is big, so I'm sure it would be a big hit.
Good job on the treadmill!

Thanks, Dan. Yeah, there were no issues. I just didn't feel like running for a couple of days - and have learned to trust that instinct.

Thanks for the suggestion, Jen. I assume you think the book should include photos?

of course! You would want to demonstrate proper form, no?

Shortless!?!! Are going from barefoot running to bare running? I want to follow your foot steps but maybe now I should reconsider :)

Shorts on my outdoor runs, Anurag, of course. But I always do my treadmill runs naked. It's much more comfortable than wearing shorts, and it means I have less laundry to do. :)

Alan's got the right idea. I'm curious enough about nude running to have registered for a nude 5k (but not curious enough to risk arrest in a non-sanctioned event.)

If this were a civilized society, we'd be comfortable enough with our bodies that running sky-clad (the old pagan term for it) would be acceptable. But we don't, unfortunately. More's the pity.

.... but doesn't sweat spray all over your treadmill ... ?

No further comment. Didn't realize I was upsetting you.

No, Jen, sweat spray isn't an issue at all.
