    great Barefoot Flight 6 km

Barefoot, kilt, singlet. Found a strong rhythm at the run's outset, got liftoff, and flew around my local ring road. This one scores 11 out of 10 on the gumption index. 13C, sunny, 4 km/h wind... read more

    great Moc3s, Relaxed 20.85 km 02:17 10:36 pace

Moc3s, kilt, no shirt, at a relaxed pace. First Garmin run in quite a while. For this one, I let my inner Anton Krupicka shine through. 24C (feels like 28C), sunny, 15 km/h wind, 61% humidity.

Anton Krupicka, on the summit of Mt. Elbert in Colorado. It's the highest peak in the Rocky Mountains, at 4,401m (14,440 feet). Kupricka's amazing!

  13. RUN
    great BKS, Languid 6 km

Barefoot, kilted, and shirtless, at a pace that was downright languid. Ran on sidewalks, ran on roads, ran through some cold, wet grass. Sometimes languid is just the thing. 13C, sunny, 5 km/h wind... read more

    great Barefoot Rollover 14.5 km

Barefoot, kilt, and singlet. 4K into this run was the rollover to 1,000K for 2013. Not a significant number in any way (I mean, there were no flaming numerals in the sky or anything), but it's... read more

Anurag, transitioning takes time. You really have to learn to run all over again. If your form is still the same as it is for your running in regular shoes, you're not doing yourself any favours. You have to run *as if you were barefoot*. Once you get get your form sorted, the pain will lessen quickly.

    great BKS, Hills 13.5 km

  20. FIT
    great Wet and Warm 00:55

20 minutes whirlpool, 20 minutes sauna, 15 minutes breathwatching. Breathwatching is helped immeasurably by doing it beside the whirlpool. The sound of bubbling water is soothing.
