Short ride this morning just to see how everything felt. Foot held up as my cycling shoes have a really stiff sole that spreads the pressure over a large area. Back has been worse before but when it is inflamed and pushes on the Sciatic Nerve I have a loss of sensation in my right leg. I know now that my headaches are caused by my neck being out of alignment so I'll call in and see my son, Dr Nick, and get him to straighten me out. Can't do much for the foot other than tape it. Hopefully then should be good to get back running. Long run this weekend is only 20k.

Glad you are well enough to do anything at all after the cat spill. I bet the boys don't even realize they caused you a problem, they are probably just thinking that you are rather clumsy compared to them. Hope your son can help your neck and back. Chiropractic is amazing!

Careful out there! Hope your back improves soon. On another note, how fun is it to say "only" 20k!

Gina - 12 months ago 5k was a long run for me, now it's nothing. After running 30km a few times running 20km isn't so special, especially for a long run where you are taking it easy.
