Surely many runners will be disappointed at the cancellation. With all the training that people put into such a race, it is understandable. However, Calico Racing has exercised the best of judgements to keep people safe in this case. I applaud them.

If anyone must run this weekend, get out before sunrise, bring lots of water and consider reducing mileage and pace. Remember brain damage is perminant. Might be a good treadmill weekend.
