Got a late start (5:30 instead of 5) and it turned out biting me a little bit. The sun came up and started to heat up pretty quick. HR suffered for it. Man was it crowded too. Last LR in my Brooks Mach 11. Put 800 miles on em. Ordered a pair of Mach 13s.

Whew! Nice distance and pace. And new shoes on the way! FYI-it was a picture perfect, drop dead gorgeous, nearly cloudless sky, blue bird day here. I knew you would want to know.

Great long run Ted! I haven't signed up yet, but I'm pretty sure that the Kenai Marathon is a go! Moose's Tooth Marathon went great last weekend, as did the 16 mile Lost Lake trail race yesterday. Recovery has gone surprisingly well (fingers tightly crossed), so barring anything major happening in the next few days, I'll likely be signing up soon.
