    Despite the sprinkles, wind, and gastrointestinal worries, I did ok in my fifth outing at the Detroit Half Marathon.

    Wow. Tired. Felt good, but legs are protesting. Will need foam roller later. Next Sunday won't be my best half marathon, but it'll get done.

    Longest run in a while. Slow. I haven't been training as well as I should be for the half on Oct 16. I'll be able to do it, but I probably won't reach my time goal. We'll see.

      When I go out for long, slow distance, the HR is usually around 150 and my pace around 11'45"/mile. This one's average was 155 with a high of 169.

    Some speed work. Helped that at the beginning of each 400m I was going downhill. I was supposed to do seven but only did five as I was cutting it close time-wise for an appointment.
