Tried doing intervals today. Target was to complete ~5 Km. Doing intervals gave me the impression that I had run faster. But it was not to be. :P

    Run fast for 2 mins, then jog for 4 mins, keep repeating this alternating pattern till you can keep going. After a while you find that you can do more such cycles than now.
