Very nice post race run. I felt much stronger than I thought I would after yesterday, and got to enjoy a beautiful sunny day outside.

My first double digits in over two years! This was a great, but very wet, race. Ed and I eyed the weather reports with worry heading up to this race, as it seemed that the newest storm to hit California would be at its worst during our race. It was ver... read more

This was a very nice evening run after a long, tiring day at work. I was ready to just eat and sleep when I got home, but luckily got myself out the door. After about 2 miles, my leg started getting tight, but it stayed pretty constant for the rest of ... read more

This was a hard run to get started. I was tired from yesterday and from the allergy medicine. I was almost about to take a nap, but Ed said that the sun was starting to go away. Knowing that we've been having so much rain and we're supposed to have rai... read more

I really, really didn't want to run today. It's so dreary outside and I was super tired. My students are really feeling day 7 of indoor recesses, and then I had to take Ed to the Airport. Luckily, I got some motivation, and did my planned run.

    I feel ... read more

This was a nice recovery run after yesterday's hard trail experience. I just did my normal 3 mile loop and enjoyed my legs' ability to feel sore but still propel me along the road. It was nice and just a little colder than the perfect running weather f... read more

This was such a fun run! After torrential rain all week, Ed and I had a great time enjoying the muddy but beautiful trails through the redwoods. It was an all uphill on the way out, downhill on the way back kind of run, which are my favorite. I'm defin... read more

My legs were feeling great on this run! I was really falling into a nice rhythm and enjoying being out on the wet path with a few other hardy souls. The only downside what that my stomach was bothering me a bit for the 2nd half. I blame a big bowl of g... read more
