Last run before the race on Sunday. I was hot this morning - 18C at 6am - going to be a warm one. Hopefully it will cool down for Sunday. Felt tired this morning - not the best pace but I got it done.

    Not a bad pace at all, pre-race. Your adrenaline will make it that much faster on race day. Hope it goes well and that that the weather cooperates!

    Thank Lowell. I think the weather will by my biggest problem if it doesn't cool down as most of my training has been in cold weather. I will be very happy with an 8:30 pace over 13.1 - we will see!

    Nice taper run. Your training will serve you well on race day. On this side of the pond, the forecast in our area on race day is 90F (32C?). Cooler at the start of the race obviously. Planning on a slow start and a lot of hydration stop. Best of luck on Sunday! Can’t wait to see that medal around your neck.

    32C Wow! The forcast for my race on Sunday is 23C, starting at around 15C I would imagine. I suppose its all relative. My plan is also a slow start as I know its generally all up hill to the half way point, so I think my energy is best spent in the second half.

    Good luck! We should definately compare medals afterwards :-)
