I had a similar injury last year after trying out a technique that is meant to make you run faster. I just decreased my milage and lengthened my rest periods for a couple of weeks and then everything was back to normal. I don't have anything more useful (or less obvious) for you I'm afriad.

Yeah the sprint finish is great. We will probably get an email from marathon photos in the next couple of days where you can buy the video of crossing the line. Its a rip off but you can watch it for free. I agree the dual carriageway bit is a little dull, the Sheffield 10K has a bit like that in it too.

Sounds like great fun being able to see yourself crossing the finish line. I can imagine how much they must charge for the video, especially with them being able to market it as a 'stadium finish'. I don't think I'll be parting with any cash but I would definitely enjoy watching it, despite the fact I won't be looking too good in it after tackling those Sheffield hills!

I missed out on the run I meant to get in yesterday and I'm too scared to chance it now with it being so close to race day. Just lots of pasta for me (and one naughty take away) See you out there;)

WOAH! They call that 'nearly flat'!!! OK... replace 'around the hills' with 'over the hills' and 'winding through' with 'fighting through' and they may just have an honest slogan there. I suppose the second half is largely down hill so maybe we'll be able to get a negative split even though I'm pretty sure a PB will be out of the question:)
