  7. RUN
good Lunch Miles 5 mi 00:34 06:52 pace

Did a bit of a 2x2-mile workout today, but with no warm-up so the first mile of the first set was a little slower. Felt good today. 7:08, 6:50, 6:32, 6:18, 7:35 - took about 2-minutes standing rest... read more

good Long Run 10 mi 01:14 07:26 pace

Ran with my brother Tony for a hilly 10-miler by my parens house and loved every minute of it. Good company and conversation made the time go by fast.

  11. RUN
good Lunch Miles 5 mi 00:39 07:52 pace

Sunny, warm and windy days are my favorite kind of summer day so today was perfect. Definitely worked up a good sweat but had some water along the way so it was good.

Sometimes, it's great to have no expectations when going into a race. When I toed the line this morning, I figured I could run maybe 41:00 or so. I started out conservatively and told myself t... read more

Do you live out in the burbs? The hubs and I are considering Wheaton or local thereabouts for a move. Just wondering if you know much about it?

My wife and I actually just moved to Wheaton from Lombard and we love the area. It's a great area for families (we have two kiddos), the taxes are not bad and it seems like a really safe area as well. Lots of great schools and Wheaton, Glen Ellyn and Lombard are very active communities as well. DM if you want more information.

good Sunday Miles 8 mi 01:00 07:28 pace

Pretty good run - kind of a herky-jerky pacing (up and down). Code brown at mile 6, thankfully there was a port-a-potty.

Seriously. Those things pop up when you most need them! Nice miles.

Definitely not used to this humidity thing yet this season. Wished I had brought water with me.
