  1. RUN
good Cleveland Marathon Part Deux 26.2 mi 04:17 09:48 pace

All things considered (appendicitis, hear, lack of training) I was very happy about this performance. Taking a week off then back to some low mileage training.

  2. RUN
    great Outdoors in Mayfield/Lyndhurst 4 mi 00:32 07:58 pace

Great run in some sunlight for once! Lesson learned, however: I need to take my breathing medicine to be able to breath. That was the only struggle, the legs felt GREAT.

  3. RUN
    great Outdoors in Mayfield/Lyndhurst 4 mi 00:32 07:57 pace

Didn't have my watch, so this was a "feel" run. Obviously felt pretty good... tapering towards Cleveland Marathon!

  4. RUN
good All over the place 18 mi 03:07 10:23 pace

Slow because 8 of these miles were trail miles. Tough run. Was very tired at the end of it, and a little nervous going into Cleveland Marathon in 2 weeks. We'll see I guess...

  5. RUN
    alright Outdoors in Lyndhurst/Mayfield 3 mi 00:26 08:35 pace

Legs felt great, but ran a little close to the end of dinner. Had a stomach cramp that didn't go away so I packed it in 2 miles early. Long run Saturday, let's hope it goes well...

  6. RUN
great Glass City 1/2 Marathon (Toledo) 13.1 mi 01:50 08:23 pace

Race day! Weather was bad (50* and raining). Started off WAAAY slower than I normally would, but still came back for a very good run. Very pleased 3 weeks out from appendix removal surgery...

  7. RUN
    great Outdoors in Lyndhurst/Mayfiel... 6 mi 00:51 08:25 pace

2nd run back was WAAAAY better than the 1st. Side stitches were achy by the end, but not enough to stop me. Glass City 1/2 on Sunday, here we go!

  8. RUN
    great Outdoors in Mayfield/Lyndhurst 4.09 mi 00:34 08:16 pace

First run back, 17 days after appendicitis surgery. 4:09 in honor of Boston, felt fresh and sluggish all at once, if that's possible. Abdomen felt great though, which is the important part.

  9. RUN
    great Outdoors in Mayfield/Lyndhurst 5 mi 00:38 07:38 pace

Last run before having to go into the ER for an emergency appendectomy. On the shelf for 3 weeks, just when things were getting good. *sigh*

I felt amazing on the way out of my house and couldn't figure out why, because I was still sore from Saturday's run. Then I turned around and the wind hit me in the face for the final 2 ... read more

  12. RUN
    good Outdoors in Lyndhurst/Mayfield 3 mi 00:25 08:24 pace

Legs felt heavy after yesterday's late run. Forgot to take my breathing medicine before going so, all things considered, pretty happy.

  13. RUN
    great 8 mi 01:07 08:22 pace

Felt REALLY strong out there. 38* felt like summer compared to the last few runs. Was pissed off due to a late start (9:30pm), but made the best of it and as usual the run put me in a better mood. ... read more

  14. RUN
    great Outdoors in Mayfield/Lyndhurst 5 mi 00:41 08:17 pace

  18. RUN
    great Outdoors in Mayfield/Lyndhurst 4 mi 00:32 08:03 pace

Set out for a nice slow, late night run, then all of a sudden hit some weird stride that felt amazing. Didn't look at my watch the whole time and was pleasantly surprised at the time.

  19. RUN
    great Lyndhurst 7 Miler 7 mi 00:59 08:25 pace

Great run... legs felt heavy for the first 3 miles, then things loosened up and I fell into a nice little rhythm.
