Wore my Luna's for the black top portion. That stuff is hot. Then kicked em off and finished the last 2 miles bare. Small blister on my left foot middle toe. No biggie. Form is definitely off.... read more

RUN
great 10 mi
Out to goodyear again. 10 miles is probably a little low, but took a new, much more interesting route. Miles just flew by.

It's ten interesting miles, no less than that

Yah, I normally drive my new routes after running them for a rough estimate...Decided that doing that is a waste. I'm not overly concerned with my distances anymore, more concerned with just moving my body through space and time without mechanical assistance.

crossfit triplet today. 10 pushups 10 air squats 100 bear crawls. I broke the bear crawls down into 30 use reps. No rest between. Felt good. Then I abused slosha for 300 yds. 100 more than last time.

great Lunch-time neighborhood run 3 mi
Calves were pretty tight, but I think that had more to do with form than anything. I wore my bikilas and for some reason I can't ever seem to get into a groove in them. It was a fast 3 miles, ... read more

lunch runs are fine. But why the troubles with the vff's? The tight calves suggest a matter of adaptation. I was lucky to run on them all winter this year, so I don't have to get used to them.

Yah, I had the stomach bug which landed me in the ER with anemia and, at the time, a possible GI bleed. However, turns out, that the GI bleed symptoms were a result of a bad reaction to Pepto Bismol...who knew...However, it took about a week and a half to get my anemia issues taken care of and regain energy to do anything physical...Still get tired a little, but my fatigue has greatly diminished. So I was glad to finally get back out. Hope your cold goes away soon.

Man. You had a little more than just a cold :-(. Glad you're out of it.

Thanks sir. It was indeed. She's not ready to go for my longer runs, but truth be told, neither are my legs after a month of no running, and closer to 3 months since I was consistently running.
