  1. RUN
    oHIo 2.12 mi

I am determined to beat this cold weather running problem. My lungs are really unhappy right now and I had to cut my run short. But I'm going to win this, damn it.

On the plus, it is absolu... read more

  3. RUN
    good Tempo 35 00:35

Tempo means something different to everyone you ask. They all say that it is the best way to get fast.

It drives me bonkers that no one can tell me what it is supposed to be.

Ramped up to 6.5 m... read more

  4. RUN
great Three Runs and a Little Baby 4 mi 00:48 12:00 pace

    Slow. No breaks. Feel awesome.

  5. RUN
good Run City 5 km 00:34 10:56 pace

To get faster you have to run faster. I, apparently, am incapable of that.

  7. RUN
    great 6x400 +1 3 mi

Did I do these right? I sorta expected to be more tired at the end. I ran the a full MPH faster than my conversational pace.

    Eh?

  8. RUN
great Running Men Can't Jump 4 mi 00:50 12:30 pace

Been a while since I've done a run nonstop. Feels good.

Day 2 training for a fake half marathon.

  9. RUN
    good Cool Runnings 3.2 mi

My asthma is taking rather well to the cool weather though I am feeling some constriction. Incidentally, it increases the overall exertion level which bestows a greater runner high. Win.

I always love when the weather turns cooler and asthma goes away. No more pollen! No more humidity! Yay! High five.

      Woo! Less wheezing!!

I certainly won't miss the running nose but the cold, dry air exacerbates my asthma symptoms. I'm determined to win this winter though; it'll be my first outside running winter and it'll be awesome, damn it!

Same here! Last year I got in a few runs in the snow before getting injured... I LOVE running outside in the winter. It is awesome. Can't wait!!!! Although here in VA it is much warmer than in WI. (I grew up near Milwaukee, so I know what y'all go through Nov-April)

Body over brain run. Nothing super numbers-wise but damn it felt good.

  11. RUN
    great 4.6 mi

Good run with friends. It ended at Brasserie V which should be the end for all runs. Ever

You should make it into a game. First see how many people you can run through with a spear while cycling, then try and beat that record. You'll be either an Olympian or arrested before you know it!

good The Iceman Runneth 3.25 mi 00:32 09:50 pace

Haven't run much since my half marathon. Boo! But yay fast run!
Like I said before, self: gotta get back into practice.

  15. RUN
    Runner Of Oz 4 mi

I followed the yellow leaf road.

Also, funny happenstance: I said before I left, "I want to run four miles," and I ran precisely that without pre-routing. Cool.
