I have staff in Sierra Vista. I told my biz partner I want to take some time to visit Phoenix when I go for a meeting. I'll let you know so we can get a run in and hang out! :D

      Great Performance:

Great job kathleen! That is the way I would up my mileage when I first started running. I would run for time and then run for distance once I reached the time goal. I just kept cycling that way. It worked out great.

good Down the Road 7.88 mi 01:56 14:46 pace

First 5 were fine, but then the sun was hot, and my water ran out. I think I'm losing my toenails. Not sure what to do with that. Advice?

Are your shoes too small? Make sure your athletic shoes are a size bigger than your street shoe....

Great run out the heat. I agree with Elysia....usually means your shoes are too small. Our feel swell/expand when we run :)

Way to go, Kathleen! On the toenail issue, my experience is that I start accumulating black toenails when my weekly mileage (or speed) has ramped up too quickly.

I've never had them, but i have decent space in my toe box, and i wiggle my toes as I run to keep the blood flowing.
