tell me more about this kid run plan... I've got two little boys, 2.5 & 3.5, who are too little to do much running but are extremely interested in it. I was thinking about taking them to the track sometime to play while I did some intervals or something... (taking my kids to the track, that's a different spin on an old sin!)

LOL kids and track :) Your kids are so young, I would just keep it fun and follow their lead. My youngest is 5 and my oldest is almost 14. The oldest goes with me for my run then when we get back I take the other three to the next street. My 2nd does his thing and I run the mile with my 8 yo. My 5 yo just jumps in and out as she pleases. From seeing me (and my husband) run they naturally want to also. No pressure from me and only if they want to. They always want to :) Have fun!!

Fantastic. I run our kids around the block 1 at a time... I think mine are a little younger though. It's great working the family in this. Keep up the good work!

Awesome, Laura! You have a wonderful, flexible style of parenting that is so healthy for you and your children. I hope you keep it up regularly, what a great family tradition you are starting and setting up for your children to carry on in their lives.
