  1. When I first joined seven months ago and set up my profile, I set it as a walker, so under my name it said "a walker"...Well, I just changed it to "runner".

    I walked the first mile and then ran for the next 1.2. This is the third time this week I've been able to run 1.2 miles without stopping to walk. Gonna try for 1.3 tomorrow :)

  4. 1.2 mile run down Palm Beach ... 1.2 mi 00:14:20 11:56 pace

    Wanted to see if I could run a whole mile again and I did. Found a route right near my house with sidewalks. I'm gonna try running it every night after work. My goal is to be able to run 2 miles w/o stopping to walk by the end of May.

      Hi Josie! I'm new to dailymile & hope that whatever "kick" life has given you will allow you to resume your exercise. I'm having to start from scratch, after no exercise for nearly a year and major surgery 4 mos ago. And, my body doesn't snap back the way it did 30 years ago! I wish you the best and look forward to future posts. :-)

    Don't usually work out on Sundays so this was new for me. Felt great. Also did 5 miles on bike and 5 minutes on arc trainer.
